Sponsorships

Through supporting sports and other events in order to strengthen the good reputation of Pécs both within and outside the confines of the city we have considered it our mission for decades to have an active part in promoting the sport, public and cultural life of the city.

Continuous support

Pécsi VSK – Pannonpower
Our Company is committed to outstanding sport performances, fair play and the fun of supporting a team. This has made us the sponsor of the city’s well known basketball team Pécsi VSK - Pannonpower contributing to their continuous success.

POSZT – Pécs National Theatre Festival
In a few years Pécs has proved to be an excellent host for the National Theatre Festival. Acting is among the noblest vocations and among the most enjoyable forms of entertainment – and Pécs National Theatre Festival is the most prestigious event of the acting world. We are proud to further the cause of such a colourful and distinguished cultural event.

Ad hoc support

“Music harvest” (2011)
Committed to the promotion of classical music, once again we support a series of events which will give an unforgettable experience for the audience of Pécs with the most renowned performers of Hungarian classical music life and foreign guest artists.

Inauguration of the 37 m2 statue (2011)
We feel responsible for keeping memories of mining alive, this is why we support activities perpetuating the mining culture of Mecsek. The last project we sponsored was an artwork commemorating the uniform one-and-a-half-room apartments of the miner housing estate of Uránváros [Uranium City]. We were greatly pleased that the South Transdanubian Chamber of Architecture awarded the work of two artists from Pécs, Dóra Palatinus and Zoltán Makra, the winners of the Victor Vasarely international art contest for art in public, thus not only a public square of Pécs has won a new statue but we could also support the development of Pécs artists.
